Te Rau pou Manawa o Kawakawa.

We watched te Rau pou manawa o Kawakawa enjoyed the kapa haka  concert. i felt very very surprised by te Rau pou manawa o kawakawa. my Favourite item was the first item was could outea. next year I want to be in te Rau pou Manawa o kawakawa.

About the boats.

Last week we did our boats. we were talking and then we went to put our boats in the water.

My Waka.

I made a waka out of tin foil,Popsicle stick and a straw.my class made a boat too. we all made one out of tin foil, Popsicle stick and straws. 

Learning with Whaea Tania

I learnt about scratch Junior with our digital learning teacher Whaea Tania. I learnt that the green flag tells it to go and the red button tells them to stop. The different arrows make it go forward, straight and back. I made my own boat, a house and the awa here are some screenshots of the mahi that I have done today.

Coding with Scratch Jr

We have been learning  about coding with Whaea Tania.  I have drawn on my Awa and got my raft to float up the river.  I coded the car to cross the city and I made my pets race.  My cat and tic are going down town and back.  I learnt how to make them speak.

On friday i we went to fun run we went had fun There We had fun then we hope’d on the train and we got off the train then we had some food after that the seven year old people Run Then we went around the rocks through the mud then we went to whaea whetu and i was surprised to smile everyone was cheering for me Even The seven year old boys were For me and I almost came in first place but another girl came past me but I came second place dance I was so happy of Sing a smile on whaea Toni’s face.

We have been learning about what animals live in the awa my animal was eels.

Kiwi facts. Kiwi’s have a strong smell. Kiwi’s have brown feathers. These small birds are nocturnal. Kiwi’s are about the zize of a chiken. Both males and females sit on the egg.
